Studio Lighting Workshops

We run a range of Studio Lighting Workshops in Melbourne. Professional Studio Lighting is introductory and then we have more advanced workshops with different themes and models. All workshops are limited to just 4 participants to maximise your experience - Register Now

 Professional Studio Lighting 

This workshop begins with a demonstration and explanation of the basic operation of professional studio lighting equipment, followed by the construction of a classic 3 point lighting set up. Once understood this set up will then be modified for alternative creative possibilities. In the afternoon all participants will then have the opportunity to practice the mornings demonstrations under guidance and review and discuss their results at the end.

Regardless of whether you have used any studio lighting equipment before or not, this workshop is a great opportunity to gain access to professional equipment and clearly learn the principles and techniques behind their efficient and effective use. Fully illustrated notes are included so all you need to bring is your camera.

Advanced Studio Lighting - By Request
We are also running a range of advanced lighting workshops by request, focussing on a variety of subjects such as Dancers, Performers and Nudes. These workshops will begin with some revision of core lighting principles plus some new and advanced set ups for our particular shoot of the day. Participants will then have plenty of time with our models to shoot under full guidance and explore a variety of set ups and techniques.

These advanced workshop are by request and require a minimum of 2 people to go ahead and will then take a maximum of 4 participants.
